As far as i've noticed RadioBeacon still works fine in 1.3.2 I haven't seen any loss of function or errors from it in a week or two of running

I don't think I want to take over BetterDispensers, but I'll try to make an update for 1.3.2 and POSSIBLY 1.4 (if not yet taken over), but I won't be constantly updating it. If its not taken over for some while, I'll put up updated versions as I need (if it breaks and I'm still using it), but that's about it.

lol, I was just making a message to you to ask if i could take over the plugin when I found this, so much for my 2500 word message... lol... well, I know that its already been taken up... can I remake all of the enchantments and use the source code for my server only?

Hey mushroom, I was waiting for the new owner of PotionsPlus to post an update. I am new to java, but I have updated this plugin to work for 1.4.7. I just love what that plugins does. I have not loaded it back onto my server yet, just local host. With your permission may I use this? I will post the jar if necessary for your review. Thanks

Just checking real quick..seeing how my old plugins are doing =)

SilkSpawners - now up to version 3.0, released 2013/02/11, actively maintained - thanks @xGh0sTkiLLeRx! I see you're now also working on an economy addon, very cool. Keep up the great work :)

EnchantMore - aw, unfortunate bobacadodl didn't have the time to work on this, but appreciate passing it on (hey, that's what I did too, its all good) - @DSH105 looking forward to your update. Planned feature set looks promising, WorldGuard support especially is one feature I never did get around to adding but it was highly requested, and also some means to legitimately access the enchanted items. Know it won't be easy doing the update, wading through ~3000 lines of code sprinkled with reflection.. best of luck!

By the way. Looking around for this plugin, stumbled upon this video about it I haven't seen before: Minecraft: EnchantMore Mod Spotlight | Extra Enchants for all items! (HD). Doesn't go into many of the enchantments, but not a bad spotlight. Just an idea, once the plugin is updated, anyone want to do a spotlight on ALL of its effects? Since there are so many, they could be shown in quick succession like Sethbling's 55 Minecraft Bugs in 3 Minutes, perhaps. Would be awesome, good way to show off this plugin, just throwing this idea out there.

Sure, of course, the license freely permits modification. But you may want to check with DSH105 now, he's updating it!

Chestpack - mstiles92 I see you've updated for 1.3.2 on 2012/10/17, thanks for that. Looking forward to your future updates =)
PickupArrows - xGh0sTkiLLeRx again, cheers; latest version 2.1.3 released 2013/01/17, and you even added some new features to this plugin I would never imagined! Glad to see your plugins are in good hands and are quite successful (10k downloads vs 3k when I left it, very nice). Maybe you'll want to takeover some more? =)

RadioBeacon - kezz101 hmm haven't seen any activity on this plugin, you still around? If not anyone else want to continue RadioBeacon? Although I do see Cake's Miner Apocalypse Reloaded has been continued (CMA 2.8 released 2013/02/06), a separate plugin but a major inspiration for RB, and also found warezthebeef's CakesRadio, a continuation of just the radio functionality of CMA. Would like to transfer the RadioBeacon project to someone willing to keep it up, but if anyone else wants to make an updated fork, feel free to and link it from the main project thread (or here).

Ah that's good to hear :). Curious if it still works in later versions..

QuickBench - ah, this monstrosity.. still no takers? Wouldn't blame you! But at least RingOfStorms took the idea and implemented it in his updated CraftingPlus plugin, should be a fine replacement for QuickBench for most purposes I believe based on reading the description, even has some nifty features like insta-break and colored naming. Anyone wanting to use QuickBench on newer servers, going to have to recommend checking out CraftingPlus instead.

However, QuickBench did have one nice feature of supporting mods. Not sure how many people are using mods on their Bukkit servers these days, and if you are you could probably use a mod like XACT or Easy Crafting instead, but nonetheless, a position to update QuickBench remains open and will remain open indefinitely. Maybe it would be a useful test case for plugin/mod integration or something?

PotionsPlus - sadly @XSilverFalconX did not have the time to maintain this plugin.

Yes of course! You have permission per the license already, you know =) (open source BSD license). Do you think you would be willing to maintain the plugin on BukkitDev? If so @XSilverFalconX could you restore the project and transfer it to HoosierDaddy76? Won't be able to review it myself, but I trust you guys will be able to figure it out, looking forward to seeing this plugin back, people have also been asking about it on the thread. Thanks!

BetterDispensers - cena6665 saw your excellent 20-minute video on this plugin, The Mod Spot: BetterDispensers, thank you! Longest video on any of my plugins ever :). Shame the interactor, breaker, were not working.. since BetterDispensers hasn't been updated since 1.2.5.. but, still you guys were able to do a pretty great spotlight nonetheless.

If anyone wants to welcome BetterDispensers into their open arms, this plugin is still available and ready to be updated. Anyone?? Granted, it is more of a "mod" than a "plugin"; sure, it runs as a Bukkit plugin, doesn't require client-side mods, but it literally replaces the entire functionality of dispensers. Not an easy plugin to update by any means. You would have to merge jeb_'s latest updates in.. since vanilla has been enhancing dispensers, too (how exactly, haven't looked into it much, but IIRC some of the features in BD first are now in vanilla). And there have been other plugins recently taking inspiration from mods, so there's that. But if anyone wants BD to be theirs, the position is open.

And interestingly, BetterDispensers is now tied with QuickBench as the top response to my "What plugins would you miss the most if no one stepped up to maintain?" poll.. but I suppose that's to be expected given neither have maintainers :p

Writable - meh, with vanilla books, probably not worth it imho. Although BookWorm is updating still..

RealisticChat - MYCRAFTisbest updated this plugin for 1.4.2 (released 2012/11/04), thanks! Last login last year though..no activity since then, hmm. Calls for update in the BukkitDev project....

So anyone want to help with this plugin? Consider this post a request. It is still mycraft's but since it is open source under a permissible license anyone is free to fork it and release their updated and enhanced version. You can post a link to it here, new project, or whatever. Or better yet try to get in touch with mycraft, from the description it looks like he is looking for another developer to help out. Would hate to see this plugin die, its very nice for role-playing servers.

AtmosphericHeights - no updates but I would bet this plugin still works (or with minimal changes), it is very simple and uses only pure Bukkit API. Someone want to try it and let me know? Either way, position open to take it over if anyone is interested.

That's about it for my plugins. Overall I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. Sure not every plugin can live forever, nothing lasts forever, but by putting these plugins out there as open source freely allowing modification and redistribution and soliciting new owners, has allowed much more usefulness to be gotten out of them than would otherwise have been possible, no doubt. Some are still going strong, and those that aren't, well, if there's interest, read the first post :p. Regards.

I have it running on two servers with craftbook as tool for custom potion crafting.
    Dark Ages: darkages.mc-family.com
    Forgotten Lands: 67.222.150.102:25565
My updated class files are here: GitHub

As soon as the project is transfered to me for maintenance, I can make sure it stays up to date.

I've been MIA for a few months now but I'm trying to force myself back into Bukkit! I'll give this all a look when I get back home (on holiday atm) and I'll update it yes! :) It was one of my fave plugins tbh

EDIT: It seems that RealisticChat has also now become inactive? I would be willing to take that over too?

Updating EnchantMore sure is a difficult task. It's going well but there's so many enchantments to check and test :p
