I was just wondering is there already a plugin to make it so i can break stuff faster or like instantly with one strike. If not, I would like to request a plugin of some sort that would allow me and many other players to have that ability.
Instant breaking would be very simple to do. If no one else picks this up, I will do it tomorrow. Currently in a good groove with a tent plugin. Just for more clarity, would you want it to break anything instant? Or to be able to define what to break instantly.
I'm looking for exactly the same thing, but with multi-world permission support. The super pickaxe in WorldEdit would fit my needs, but it has a major flaw. It doesn't auto disable itself when a player teleports to another world where they do not have permissions to use it.... This allows players to hop on the creative world on our server, enable it and then teleport to any other world on our server and continue to use it.
I don't know how I missed BlastPick in the plugin list. I just tried it a few minutes ago, and it appears to have some issues with Permissions 2.5.4 (I could only get it to work as an op), so I really couldn't test its behavior between worlds. Also, I'm not sure what the OP is looking for, but I'd kinda like something that behaves like a normal pick and still drops blocks (only it breaks them instantly). The super pickaxe in WorldEdit is perfect (sans the current Permission issue changing between worlds). Again, I'm not sure what the OP is looking for, but being able to define what is instantly breakable might be handy (but not an absolute necessity) to keep players from busting through bedrock or accidentally whacking a chest. *edit* Also, as an end user... I appreciate all of the work the craft bukkit team and the plugin developers have done. You guys are simply amazing!
thanks for replying I would prefer it so when you start it, anything breaks instant and it stops when you disable it. Only ops and specified players should be able to use. Thanks for making this.
If you are using WorldEdit there is a command that makes any block instant destroy using your pickaxe
yea WorldEdit is alrite but I want something that would allow me to use any tool or even a hand that will instantly break things. I want it so you can type it in, and it enables instant break with anything and then disable when I want to. Please someone try to make this, I heard this is fairly simple so I'm not really asking for much. But if you guys really can't do it then I guess I'll have to reserve to worldedit.
I have also been looking for such a plugin as the OP has described in his posts.. WorldEdit would do the job but is kind of overkill (I'd much prefer a simpler and smaller plugin for just this specific purpose). BlastPick is close to what I've been looking for (need to have blast radius set as 1 to work like a "normal" pickaxe) but with that the blocks do not drop, they just disappear.
BlastPick was updated, if you could see if it works properly with Permissions 2.5.5 on 617, or any of the newest builds, that would be great. I'm almost positive it works correctly, but there always are certain situations that cause other things to break.
