Hey all! I need some help with Worldguard. How can i make it where players can break wood in world guarded areas?

You mean nothing can be destroyed or built in a protected area, except wood logs? I think using the blacklist of WG as a whitelist might be an option, see http://wiki.sk89q.com/wiki/WorldGuard/Blacklist and search for whitelist.

EDIT: No wait, I think that would be stupid using whitelist. Are you talking about a public tree farm?

Then it's easier if you protect the area in the usual way, and then make another, smaller region inside it. That smaller region only covers above ground, only the trees. Make that smaller region a child of the big one that protects the floor, fences etc and you are done.

In other words, big region that protects the stuff, small region within that only covers the trees. Add g:default or whatever your player base group is called to the small region as owner or member, then make the big region a parent. That means that everybody can harvest the trees, but not touch the outer bigger area.

You could define a region for the tree farm and flag build allow for it.

    1. Select the big region, the one that includes the ground, fences, whatever
    2. /region define treefarm
(This does not specify any owner, you can do so but for this here to work it's not important)
    3. Select the small region, the one that only covers the trees and begins one block above ground
    4. /region define trees g:defaultThis makes the group (g:) default owner of the small region. That's a group from your permissions. Might be Player or VIP or whatever in your case.
    5. /region parent trees treefarm
This makes region trees a child of treefarm. You need this so that the owner(s) of trees can actually destroy blocks, because the farm is two regions overlapping.

    You could try this:
1.Protect the area of the whole farm.
    2.Protect the ground
3.Define A region selecting where the trees shall be And expand vert it, then flag it so 'build allow'. Oh also do /rg setpriority 2 to it
