In order to centralize support of our legacy projects, we will no longer be providing support on Bukkit. Please use www.spout.org for support with our projects going forward.

I looked but I was unable to tell if vBulletin was supported for now? I know he was working on it...

I was hoping to release 2.0.0 today, but we've been trying to get most of the issues taken care of first. Most of the issues are fixed, but there are still a couple of things we'd like to do before release. We might release 2.0.0 within the next day or at least a preview version of 2.0.0.
vBulletin 4.1 is supported in ForumAuth 1.3. Older version support such as 3.8.7 will be added in AuthDB 2.0.0. It may work now, but it hasn't been testing by us yet and I haven't looked to see if there are any differences between v4 and v3 in the database and password encryption.

We've rewritten the whole code so it will be nothing like forum auth, AuthDB looks into performance and is highly customizable, meaning you as an user, can do whatever you want with this plugin. We are adding every requested forum/CMS for the next release and the custom table will be there as well.
The reason we haven't released AuthDB 2.0.0 is because we want it bugfree and with that, alot of features for the users. We should be ready for a preview version later today. :)

So, will the preview be ready today? Sorry for all the bumps, but I really love this plugin's idea and can't wait to try out the new version ^^

Hopefully yes, just fixed all the issues/errors (yay). We're now testing it for errors/bugs and if that goes well I will proceed with adding more scripts and hopefully release the update today.

AuthDB 2.0.0 is coming soon! Contex has been working on new code for versions as the old was causing issues. Probably won't be a release today though... sorry for the delay! We will release it as soon as possible.

Well since you are coding a new version, why not integrate a notification message asking for users to register? And toggleable options, such As forum ban handling? I'm eager for this new version :)

    Wulfspider

A notification message when they enter the game? AuthDB has that. Ban handling should be do-able, I'll add that to the to-do list. We've been working all day since the crack of dawn trying to get the version ready for release, so hopefully it will be available soon!

I can give u the line that i use for playlock to Kick, ban or rename players with bad/illegal character(s) in username

We've actually already implemented this back when things changed over to AuthDB from ForumAuth last week.

We have yet to add banning and renaming users seems to only "mask" the username, unless you have a magical Java fairy on your side? :p

    I appreciate the offer though!

@SunyYun , Well, I've been trying to figure out XpressEngine, but can't seem to figure out how to make a simple login box yet. Do you have a system setup that would allow us to test AuthDB with?

We will be releasing 2.0.0 today! We have a couple little things to cleaning, test, and then release. :)
You can view all the changes on https://github.com/contex/AuthDB/wiki/Changes ...
All the changes are not on there yet as I am updating it as we speak.

    AuthDB 2.0.0 is finally here!
Check out the changelog to see what's been added and fixed.

Along with the new name, we have started a group called CraftFire and we plan on releasing quite a few things in the near future.

I hope you enjoy the release! :)

There is no config option for database name? My forum's db name isn't minecraft_forum and I don't know how to change it.

Oops! Sorry about that, somehow the database field was removed when we updated the config file. The database name option is above the prefix now. The setting also defaults to minecraft_forum if it's not present.

Re-download and replace all please. :)

I think you got an @contex 's mirror haha... his internet had issues right as I send him the updated version. One more try as I have changed all the mirrors to mine currently until he gets back. Sorry about that!
