Vps hosting?

Someone working for vpscraft.net wants to sponsor me eith a 2gb vps setver for minecraft bukkit...is it worth it!?? What does vps do, and will it be up24/7?

You are asking if vpscraft can sponsor you when you don't even know what a VPS is.

 

They offered to and its virtual private server, I know that. please ignore this thread if your not gonna help

 

Like Lax said, You didnt even know if a VPS was a 24/7 server. You should really do research before you make a thread.

Alright... I see no productivity in this thread at all, so here ya' go:

A VPS, or Virtual Private Server, is pretty much a computer hosted from a remote place, usually provided by VPS providing companies. What you can do with a VPS is pretty much endless, it's like having another computer from another location, just without the actual hardware.

 

Just as he said a vps is pretty much a virtual computer and yes you can run mc on it. Also if you are even going to use a vps you should know more about what you are doing first.

 

You would be better off contacting them directly.
