Solved Mobs in world without uncontrolled spawning

    Hello,
    I'm building a map where I want to strategically place mobs at certain places.
    Is there a way to place mobs in a map kind of like hypixel does in his maps where you kill the mobs that are there and no more appear in that spot afterwards?

    Thanks for your reply.
    Killall will kill all of the mobs but then they will just naturally start spawning again, correct?

    ahhhh... command blocks with the gamerules setting...
