   So I know you can give the Steve Head NBT data while it is in a ItemStack form but how would I go about changing it after it is already placed? I would like to make a wall for heads that will contain the heads of people who have died over a certain period of time.

   set the NBT data. Check the ExtraData under tile entities > skulls

   Ok well how would you go about changing NBT data of blocks? Is it the same as items?
