Is there a way to make lava act more like water in the aspect of draining away?
Im trying to make a trap, pistons open, and stay open for 20 seconds. lava flows down threw the tunnel. then the pistons close. but the lava stays there, it don't go away.. is there a way to fix this?

I'm pretty sure that you can't. Lava is glitchy. Even WorldEdit can't remove it. Like I would make my region around the lava and do //cut or //replace lava 0, and the lava would stay. Anyone, please prove me wrong if so.

Voxel Sniper can drain water and lava away, if thats what you want. :)

    .//replace 11 0 .//replace 10 0
    Works fine =P

Also, the speed of lava is 1 block per second. Maybe it can be adjusted, not sure though.

    So can WorldEdit... //drain 50. //removenear lava 50. Whatever.

But if you set the source block to air, and don't touch anything else, the lava still remains, VoxelSniper or WorldEdit. That's just how lava is.

I have never thought of using the data values. Thanks for pointing that out.

Aint that the truth Omni, I've never used so many data values until that plugin...
np9 if you just say //replacenear //removenear lava # it wont get both types. I don't recall, but i think it only hits the source.
And if youre not fast, using them both won't help much either. I powertool the 2 //removenear 10 # and //removenear 11 # and spam them like mad. Only quick remove method I've ever used after I figured it out. (not that great for emergency leaks tho)

He posted this like 5 seconds after I saw this.
This is a bug, whenever im watching a thread; the alerts does not alert me exactly 2 seconds after he posted it. Kinda annoying but unnecessary. plus you already quoted me.
