    Depends on the plugin.

There are some very light weight plugins, but the majority of plugins use around 20-50MB of RAM but plugins like SurvivalGames would use anywhere from 50MB-1GB of RAM.

That's a stupid response. At least help him out instead of just commenting on how he spelled a word incorrectly...

Jimmy_McDonagh The amount of RAM a plugin uses typically depends on what it does.

Plugins which rely on multiple events (e.g. logging/permissions plugins) will use more RAM than those which only fire on a specific event (e.g. a flight plugin).

RAM used by plugins is generally not too high. (Please don't hate me I know there are exceptions). RAM Problems are usually caused by minecraft/bukkit itself.

That is a relative question that can't really be answered.
For example, DynMap is relative to how many players are on.

You have to test it yourself.

You can easily test how much a plugin takes about. You can use visualvl to view all instances of objects. Just filter for the package of the plugin. A plugin can also take only a few bytes :p
