In my server lots of people are complaining about getting kicked for hacking. And they are saying that they are getting kicked for climbing ladders or jumping. And i think that anticheat thinks they are flying. So is there a way to lower the sensitivity for anticheat? or they may just be lagging from my server.
Lag is a common reason for plugins like AntiCheat to do this kind of thing. Is your server really laggy?
my server is kinda laggy. Because im hosting it. i do get warnings. in my console or in game it says <player> was kicked for hacking EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
h31ix is already well aware of these issues. The reason why these things happen is because of the usage of heuristics (the plugin learns the difference between good and bad behavior by itself) combined with server lag. When the server lags, players may spring forward/back and thus cause AntiCheat and other cheat prevention plugins to overreact and think the player is cheating. But hey, if you get rid of the heuristics, it doesn't do much at all anymore -- even when the player is cheating.
