   well, im trying to make redstone near a certain block, lets say obsidian in this case, powered.

   thats just for checking whether the block is powered or not, i want to power it myself instead of checking if its powered

   I tried, but i guess my best goal would be to change the state of the redstone
   and than update the redstone
