Hey, I've got a nice idea for a plugin:

    Plugin category: Weapons

    Suggested name: legendaryItems

What I want: A plugin which adds "special" weapons to the game. There are only a few of these weapons ingame. Mobs have a small chance of dropping them, and they have high level enchantments. When someone kills a mob, and it drops one of the few legendary items, it will be anounced throughout the server. The item can not be dropped by the player and will be deleted on dieing. It's not possible to store the item in a chest. When the player dies the item is removed. It will then be added back to the drop cycle and another player has a chance of obtaining it.
When a player does not login for 7 days, the item will be removed from his inventory too.

The plugin must be multiverse compatible and it needs a config to set the amount of total items and configure which item/enchant combinations are possible. I would also like to set the rarity of an item.

    Optional:
    - Maybe add special names for items? Like excalibur.
    - Maybe make giants spawn rarily, and make them some kind of boss mob which drop the items sometimes.
    Ideas for commands:
    /legendaryItems list
    - Lists all items and their owners.

    Ideas for permissions:
    - legendaryitems.amount.x : x Represents how many items 1 player can have.

When I'd like it by: As soon as possible, but no need to hurry :>

It would be great if someone could create it :)

If you want to add new items to the game, you would need Spout

You can send the player a message when he holding the special item.
    That's not the problem. :D

Err, there's already a plugin called LegendaryItems and it does most of what you want o_o

Well that plugin allows everyone to have an item and the items in that plugin can be enchanted by the player himself. I want the weapons to be premade or random, and only a few ingame.

In fact there are two plugins that already do this, because enchantMore also does it.

have you checked if you can configure whether players can make these items or not? I believe it's configurable for one or both plugins.

No sense in wasting dev time if it's already built.

You can premake items with blueprints, and make it so that players can't modify them. You can also limit how many blueprints can be bought.

I've definitely never had a random blueprint suggestion (I like it). I don't think I've ever had a request before to make items recirculate on death (which could also be done).

It wouldn't be hard to make a collection of lost/destroyed items and have them reappear elsewhere in the world in the form of mob drops. That'd be a relatively tiny plugin to make as an addon to my plugin. If you're interested I'll see if I can squeeze it in after my next update.

It would be great if you could include it, and make it configurable so I could turn the parts of the plugin I don't like off :)
