Hello, I've had quite a annoyance for the last few days. The problem I have been having is Worldedited chunks being rollbacked at random times whenever I leave the server, but NOT regenerated or replaced with new chunks for a reason. I have informed the owner and I made sure the WorldEdit version was for CraftBukkit 1.3.2-R2.0, but it was not. and even after updating the plugin itself, the same rollbacks countinued. No other areas are being rollbacked apart from my own town itself.

the pictures below are a WorldEdited plains, flattened whole with 2 large terraces. And the chunks shown have been turned into a rollbacked state, usually the road is a good example.

I do NOT have a clue what is causing this bug however. Please reply.

Update to the latest version, older versions have been having chunk update issues with 1.3, the latest is fine.
Make sure your harddrive on your server has sufficient read/write capabilities, remove any chunk update modifiers (nolagg, craftbukkit++, etc).
Try using a setting up a RAM disk if you have a lot of extra RAM.
Do not run the server on the same PC you play with.
Post this on the world edit plugin page for support.

It IS on the latest version, and the server is using No chunk update modifiers.
but the HDD read/write? I'm not so sure. I'll post on the plugin page.

A little bit off the subject...

It's hard to tell but I'm assuming you're running this on the same PC you play on, I would recommend getting a small server/VPS for you and a few friends, they hardly break the bank like 1gb would be 5-10$ a month.

Back on subject, as I said make sure your harddrive is not stressing, both the server and the client are very harddrive intensive, another suggestion would be a small SSD, but who knows, it could be an issue with world edit itself.

The Server isnt home-hosted, it is hosted by beastnode. the server has 2GB RAM with around 70-80 Plugins.

Edit: 2GB, Not 4gb. my bad.

    70-80 plugins, that's just crazy.

  7. Hello, I'm the owner of the server, the server is hosted on a Sandy Bridge Intel Xeon E3 series processor. It is ran on an SSD. The plugins are up to date and the CB build is up to date. We are running default Bukkit with no chunk modifiers.

70-80 plugins?! I have a 4GB server and had 60+ plugins before. Started to lag horribly, so now back to 49.

As I said, if it's plugin related it should be reported to the developer, if it turns out it's not plugin related he may have to look into further details of his server, since the server is solid state, it's more than likely not a I/O related error, possible issue with delayed world saving? I'm currently using the latest world edit build and am not having any issues.

I personally would also not run 80 plugins off 2gb of RAM, it could possibly be a plugin conflict.

  10. Runs perfectly for me, don't experience lag at all. I put my plugins in MySQL mode (If they support it)
There doesn't seem to be any plugins conflicting with it. Plugins I believe may contribute to it are Voxel Sniper, Backup, Towny, Grief Prevention or World Guard. Other than that, there are no other region editors or protections. Another could possibly be Weather Man (Biome changing). We have not experienced these chunk errors anywhere else except where Crude has been using World Edit, Voxel and Weather Man.

Well one way to start while awaiting a response from the developer would be testing and eliminating variable plugins that may possibly be conflicting with it. Possibly open a test server with just world edit alone and see if the issue continues.
