A few weeks ago i made a minecraft server from the download on minecraft.net, it did not have bukkit so i got rid of it. I downloaded bukkit and deleted all previous minecraft_server docs and previous server.properties from the original server. When i ran the craftbukkit server starter it said the above. Whats going on?

yea..i have the same problem with mine and i did the same thing too downloading a server. exe from minecraft.net...
the only thing that work is to change the "server-port" on your server properties something like 25570 that might work on yours...try it and see

Thank you JangoD'soul I was having the same issue except I only installed craftbukkit. It worked for 2 days and did this to me. You were a great help, Thanks again!

That's a bad fix for this error. This generally happens when you stop the server incorrectly, and minecraft is still running in the background. Open up task manager and kill java, then start the server and it should fix it. Changing the port and opening it back up is just going to cause multiple copies to be running on your computer.
