Client Hacks in Bukkit Server's

I have a server with no whitelist and I have a few issues,

1. Some players who have hacked client, can spawn items into the game (EE Destruction Catalysts) even if the items has been disabled in the config (it only disables the crafting, not just spawning it in)
2. HawkEye does not record those blocks (ones destroyed by EE Destruction Catalysts)

Is there a good plugin to detect and ban these players who spawn stuff into the game?

It is not possible to spawn items without permission. No hacked client can do that.

 

Not possible??? say that to all of the people who just started wondering around in RedMatter armour......

 

Get them to sign up and I'll tell them.

It's not possible to just obtain items out of the blue, either they are using an exploit in something or you have a very stupid admin somewhere.

Use Playerlogger http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/playerlogger/ And if someone gets RedMatter armour or anything check their log to see if theres anything suspicious!

 

It could be a malicious plugin, but all plugins on BukkitDev are checked...

 

Who's to say he downloaded them off Bukkit?

 

Firsty, I made the plugin so its defiantly not malicious
Secondly, The plugin is on bukkit dev and has been approved

Ah yes - I didn't mean to say PlayerLogger was malicious - I meant that one of your plugins could have a backdoor.

 

so you have mods on your server?

assuming you have TMI or NEI, they override standard protection

It's a tekkit server, so every player has NEI.

All the plugins are from BukkitDev
