I was wondering if there was an active plugin that blocks the making of nether portals. Not the making a portal, but the use of it, so you just see the portal animation, but nothing happens. Any suggestions? Thanks!
You can change the allow-nether setting in your server.properties file to false, there may also be a similar configuration option in your Bukkit.yml file.
the only thing i can think of is multiverse http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/multiverse-core/ i believe you can block the use of them. or use can use something like worldguard http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/worldguard/ to prevent the use of flint and steal or the item id of the neither portal itself.
I want a warp for it, like /warp nether, I just don't want the portals, because I heard they lag the server? And they just waste my server space. ---And ram EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
they dont seem to generate any extra lag, in my experience. but anyway, essentialsprotect, worldguard, multiverse, modifyworld all have the abillity to do it
