Living Village [Plugin]

    Hello, I was sitting through looking at all the plugin's on the and site, then going through the game interface and code for the [Villager]. I was thinking of a new way to setup a creative self building and sustaining world that does not relay on [Player] influence. This would create a new challenge and depth to the already existing game. This is all theory right now;

    [The Theory]
    A Direct modification of the [Villager] [NPC] allowing them to pick up [blocks] and replace them like the [Enderman]. However, instead of random placement of the [blocks] they can setup with pre-existing [house] [block] styles that can already be found in the games [building] (code)(Further example the [NPC Villages] found throughout the game world. So to sum this up, a [Villager] will go around and pick up (dig/mine) [blocks] and replace them to build [houses] and explain their own [NPC-Village] size.

    [Counter Excitation Theory]
    The major problem I foresee is that [villagers] fear the night and retreat into their homes, and if unlucky enough will get attacked by [Creepers] and [Zombies] then die. So to counter this; have a random spawn ticker that will spawn [Warrior-Mage-Rouge-Etc...Villages] who will have weapons and armor. These [Combat Villages] (as I call them) will hunt in a set-zone size to that of their [Village] and kill all [Players], [Zombies], [Creepers] and more.

    [RPG Element]
    For plugins' like [RPG], [McMMO], [DwarfCraft] and more this can serve as a way to create a counter force for players. Not only increasing the enemies in the game world, but also have a growing village's that will creep on any [player] [outpost] made will make players more aware of their surrounding and create a more interactive game play.

    [Combat Villager]
    Combat villager's are villagers whom become combat ready. The theory can build't on in many directions such as low ranking warriors [Rouge Warriors] to [Grandmaster Warriors] just for examples. I believe we can also expand the Combat Villager to a Self-Exploring and Self-living npc that will not only seek monsters at night but also seek food and shelter during the day.

    [Warrior Style]
    An Npc that will a sword ranging from Wood to Diamond. They will also seek and try equip armor starting with Iron to Diamond. However, I believe if we use a Xp or level system for the NPC we can limit the use of diamond armor for those who reach [Grandmaster] level.They will return and trade [Monster Drops] to [Villages]

    [Archer Style]
    An Npc that will use a Bow an Arrow. These types of [Warriors] will attempt to seek out Skeleton Archers and chickens to increase their supply of Arrows. They will also bring back food they acquire on their adventures and increase the supply of a [Village]


    Side Note- I saw a Plugin that will highlight the use of an NPC who will do X work for you if you have the supplies. We can create an NPC that will do the same but instead you can pay them with gold or gold ingots and they will adventure out to try and collect resources but there is a chance they could be killed by a monster type.

    Personal Note:
    As mentioned this is all theory and I am looking for a team interested in expanding minecraft's villager coding to the extreme. I am looking for a team that can do this in their spare time and build it. I firmly believe there is a threshold of untapped territory in the development of this theory. I am sure there is even a way we can program new styled [Npcs] that could stem from the theory.

    Anyway I am open for ways to expand the theory and building the plugin.

    my sugestion
    make it so they have an endgame. make a designated end structure. my idea:
    a village surrounded by walls with a castle in the middle.
    how to do it:
    well i have no development background... but i would say you have them build houses farms and church... then when population or number of houses is made then they start on a wall- then castle...
    make it so they can pick up blocks and eventually flatten land- so if there is a mountain they will cut it out to make the size of the designated design.

    the rest i find interesting- but my hope is for a growing villager city

    This would be a very large scale for a minecraft plugin. So do you want it like the Millenaire mod for minecraft? I might be able to fit this into my schedule but I am making a quite a few plugins right now already.
