Inactive [FUN/INFO/ADMIN] Minebase v0.2 - Make your server social with Minebase Social Network [1.2.5-R2.0]

Minebase is a social network for bukkit which links together players from different servers via a clever usage of instant in-game optional signup, status updates, server groups and WORLDWIDE leader boards!​

Minebase can be accessed at http://mcbase.uk.to/ and is currently in the ALPHA stage (it works, but there may be some minor undetected faults). We're working on updating the website constantly, so expect some changes in the UI as it gets better and better.​

How does one use minebase, and what does it do?

1. Server admins add the Minebase.jar to their server plugin files
2. When the server is first run, it connects to minebase.uk.to and creates a server page that contains its live information (like status, amt of players online, server version ect...), IP address and users, like the one below:
   
3. Players sign up On-Server by typing /JoinMCB and their email address.
4. They are given a password to use to access the site (though they can change this at any time). At the same time, they are logged into the server and activity posting starts:
5. Their activities are then recorded and posted to minebase, with a link to the servers IP and page, like this:
   
6. In addition, their total kills/deaths/xp is recorded to make worldwide leaderboards of the top kd ratio on players ect...
7. Players can search for their friends they have on other servers and see what other servers are trending:
   

All this is done in REALTIME: The INSTANT a player kills another, its posted to​

mcbase.uk.to​

and the death/kill counts are incremented for each of them.​

Servers that are connected show [SERVER ONLINE] on their page. Servers that were stopped properly are shown as [OFFLINE] instantly, while servers which shutdown unexpectedly are shown as [OFFLINE] after 5 minutes of inactivity​

• To sign up use /JoinMCB . You will be given a secure, temporary password
• To make a player in charge of your servers page on MCbase.uk.to use the command /MCBsetAdmin [username] where [username] is the user of the player you want to set as admin (ensure they are online and have an http://mcbase.uk.to/account). Being an admin allows the player to change the pages properties online, such as its image or posting official server status updates ect...
• To set the servers description on the servers webpage, change its description in the Minebase config file, or use/MCBsetDescription [text] where [Text] is the server description
• WARNING! DO NOT CHANGE THE SERVERUID IN THE CONFIG FILE OR YOUR MCBASE PAGE WILL STOP FUNCTIONING!​

WHO MADE THIS WONDERFUL THING?
Its the brainchild of RjSowden, who did the Website and Plugin design, but a well-done and thanks must be extended to HON95 who helped us find a few bugs in the plugin as well as even writing some code to fix them! A round of applause for all involved!
What has happened with this and what can I expect?
Aside from a bout of intense AWESOME after installation, you can also expect to see the following things in the future:

• Cats with jet-packs
• Profile picture = Minecraft skin face

And what have we already done? We've

• Turned the security up to 9 (There is no such thing as 10)
• Added The SERVER IP to status updates
• Made sure the server owner doesn't have to type in the SERVER IP - the plugin will fetch it instantly and automatically on start up
• Made list of things we have done and are going to do

*Alpha versions may contain some errors that we havn't found yet, but are otherwise are fully operational. And yes, I'm fully aware that MCbase sounds like a bad DJ. M C BASE IS IN DA HOUSE! that kinda thing. We'll get a better domain when we can afford it!

Free server CPU usage exceeded!
 
Because of hard servers CPU usage, domain will stay limited and unavailable for the next 24 hours.
 
If you’re owner of this domain, please check once again your website engine for any possible flaws or problems to avoid same situation in the future.

You really should host this on a better place or let serveradmins host their own part and just use your bandwidth to connect them all.

Server keeps going over its bandwidth. I'm going to totally upgrade this site so its paid for, works better and won't go over its usage. That won't happen until i start work, so until then could people refrain from using thisplugin? thanks!
