    This is working PERFECT for me! npc's survie reloads and restarts. I LOVE IT!

    I found out the NPC's dissaper after you put them at the set location (they're gone after you restart your server)

    Hmm.. sort of an issue that NPCs show up in the who /list.

    Is there any way plugins can determine them from real players since..

    Player p

    if ( p instanceof Player ) always returns true for the NPC.

    I would like to request a feature; could you please add the ability to turn off a certain NPC talking, I have a welcomer NPC and others, but I want some to stop talking.

    P.S. I Don't want to disable talking when you go near them globally because that would wreck the welcomer, I just want it for certain NPCs.

    i found an error, when i entered "/npc color Bruce e" it changed the name to "eBruce"

    i realize it should have been &e but even though i made the mistake it shouldn't have added an e to the beginning of the name

    Where does one find the NPC lib you mention? And what fires the custom event in Citizens?

    To stop some NPCs from talking, empty out the default-text=
    Then NPCs without text doesn't talk

    If you mean, do the NPCs save, then yes.
    Only once have I experienced an NPC that didn't survive a restart.
    For some reason, every now and then a single NPC doesn't get saved to the files. But it's a rare bug
     
  16. Hey man, i have a problem. I have installed your plugin but it wont let me use the commands (i am a admin).
    It said you dont have permission to use that command. Please help. Thank you.

    I had an issue where an NPC I created was gone when I rebooted the server. I found his entry in the locations file, but he wasn't on the 'list=' line and wouldn't come back until I manually edited it. The only thing I think I did different was use an asterisk in his text when I created him. I'm not sure if that might cause an issue but I wanted to report it in case. The text I used was: *blynks at you*

    I'll post more if I have it again or figure out more. Sorry if this issue is already reported or something not at all related to what I'm thinking the cause was :D

    Not sure if anyone has come up with this idea yet, but I thought "What if you could store a number of skins in a folder on the server for this plugin to use instead of copying the skin of whatever player the NCP's name resembles?" It would allow a person to create an NPC with any name and skin they wished. Just a thought.

    OblivionJustice - do you have permissions, are you holding a book (if not configuring anything else)? Phat_rat - it has been thought of, and is again impossible to do.

    Some suggestions i thought of but probably next to impossible:
    -Reply specific text, so you talk to an NPC by right clicking then it says Hi and comes up with a list (of which the player chose to give it, i.e 1: how are you? / 2: Do you need help? etc) then the player types the number to the phrase/question to reply with that, which then triggers another phrase by the NPC, would be great for quests.
    EDIT: just like typical adventure/puzzle games like monkey island

    - Multiword NPC's: work like portals and you can talk to them and comes up with a choice of places to choose from using the idea above (so 1 :world1/ 2 :world2/ 3 :world3) could also have iconomy support so you can go talk to a pilot and choose to be taken to a different world for £100 or something.

    I am aware that these are probably either really confusing or impossible to do or both.

  28. Just found something weird when i'm close to an npc. When i look to the right, the npc looks right. So it looks like the npc dosent look at my position. So when i'm facing from the npc, it will do the same. So is it anyone else with the same problem?

    Somewhat a bug I guess? NPCs can take damage. At least from TNT. Everyone has damage disabled (god mode). Yet, the NPC is still there and only drops his items.

    Is there any way to cancel the talking event? I'm making a banking NPC for iConomy but I don't want him to talk when using a book. Love the plugin so far, it's been great :)

    Mine doesn't save the NPC's (they're gone after a restart).

    Edit: Removed it anyway due to updating to 531. Can you update Citizens to 531 :D
