Need help with Port Forwarding!!!!

Hey guys I made a minecraft server that I portforwarded with simpleportforwarding. Then I relized that my friend couldnt join with my external ip. I decided to try starting fresh by port forwarding in my browser and I deleted simpleportforwarding. I thought I could port forward in my browser but whenever I go into my browser either bing shows up with suggestions or internet error thingie that shows dignose internet problem button.

Some additional info:
I use internet explorer 9
I got a Netgear WNDA3100v2 N600 Wireless Dual Band USB to connect to the internet
I also tried using google chrome and it didn't work either

 

1. Search Command Prompt in the start menu and open it up
2. Enter "ipconfig"
3. Look for the sets of numbers in default gateway. Should be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
4. Look up your router on portforward.com
5. Follow the instructions.
6. That's it.
