   I used to be able to use /i [itemname] e.g. /i coal or /i diamondpickaxe and it would work. But now, all of a sudden, after some server host problems, I can no longer use the names and I have to specify an id instead. Anyone have any ideas on why this would be? Plugin conflict? I'm using Essentials. See the attachment for my other plugins.

   That's a bunch of plugins, but i didn't see a suspicious one... can you just try the hard method and disable every non-mandatory plugin and test again?
   EDIT: Also you could check your items.csv of Essentials (i dunno if Essentials main uses the file or just EssProtect...), my items.csv is 42.5kb big
