Stuck at logging in

I went afk for around 20 minutes and it logged me and my friend out of our server. So I restarted my computer and server several times and it is still not working any ideas what's wrong?

 

I am fairly sure minecraft.net is down

 

The site? Because I can go on the site no problem.

Yep I hate it when stuff like this happens when you need to be on your server to fix stuff.

The Minecraft.net login servers are down. Blame Mojang.

 

Anyone know how long it's usually down?

 

Just be patient, untill then have a

 

Someone needs to make the error messages a little more user friendly.

 

IT is you just need to know how to read it.
