    Hi,

it looks like I run into some problems when people translate messages into danish and italian and put those into my yaml configuration file.

Error message is: unacceptable character '?' (0xFFFD) special characters are not allowed

I don't see anything in the file though... saved in utf-8

Tell them to change the encoding of the file to UTF.

Maybe try using an escape character before it? Honestly no idea.

There are multiple quotation marks in that file that seem to be turned into the magic curly quotes instead of normal quotes.

Try putting quotes around the string in the yaml file... Thats what I did and it worked for me.

hmm.. I did find one... need to check that again thanks..

well I went from " to ' or was it the other way around because it was causing issues.. and I went to save the file in utf-8 because I had issues there too...

now it also looks like there might be issues with os and java versions... sigh...
