Word Generation

    Hi,
    I am looking to set-up a pVp server. I want to be able to generate a normal Minecraft world except I would like to set a boundary, preferably a pit of lava, around the world. I would also like to stop lakes and oceans. The world would be otherwise normal biomes etc. I have a little Java experience but am new to Minecraft and Bukkit, can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial or code that does similar?     you can use an block populator, and spawn lava if the chunk id is higher than the specified amout
