This is the plugin i wan't created. You build a nether portal outline but don't light it. You place a sign on the left side in the middle of it. In this format: [Portals new name] [Portal to go to] (Nothing) (Nothing) eg. SpawnPortal PortalRoom When you first make it the first empty space would become '(Not connected)'. When you make a new portal with the first portals name a the route and the first portals route as the name: eg. PortalRoom SpawnPortal (Not connected) It will say '(StarGate)' instead of '(Not connected)' eg. SpawnPortal PortalRoom (Not connected) to... SpawnPortal PortalRoom (StarGate) Then you light it and they will both teleport you to each other when you walk in them

Well thats why you search for plugins to see if it has already been made. Then if it hasn't, thats when you come here and request for it to be made.
kidding with me? With AG dont you need a damn sign and you can make the portal how big you want and you can have any block as frame, And it is a nether-portal! You also dont need to connect to a specefoc portal, you set the point the gate will teleport you to. Summary : Much better
Been using stargate on my server for a long time now. It's truly awesome. I've configured it so you use wool instead of obsidian and allow three different sizes/forms. It's really easy to add different shapes and different materials needed. Players can choose them selves if they will allow others to use their portals, If they should be free to use or cost money and can hide portals so only they see them in the network lists. The way they are all connected through networks are also a superb way to handle portals. That way I can choose to link all portals between worlds to their own network named world's, dimensions or whatever. Edit: spelling and grammar are somewhat lacking. Blame it on my phone.
I have also been using stargate, it's kinda nice but personaly i think AG is way better everyone think different
I facepalmed so hard when I saw this. How could you miss this plugin? If you'd even attempted to search the plugin lists you'd have seen it!!
Well, if you looked for a portal plugin a couple of month ago you wouldn't have found it since it was banned from bukkit for a while. And if you during that time searched for a portal plugin and found one on bukkit and you felt happy with it, then you prob would stop searching, right?
