Inactive [FUN/MECH/RPG] TSGMod v0.6.17.6 - The Hunger Games and more! [1.2.5-R4.0]

    Instead of a restart, try typing reload into console, or /reload ingame. That error should only be possible once, on first load. I see, though, that it's me just missing an error print. That error won't actually affect the plugin in anyway. Though, the config not generating is a bit of a problem. You should definitely try the reload.

    Well, god dang. Forgot to check, and didn't realize this was a mod. I, for some reason, have trouble installing mods. Nice mod though! great idea!

    It is a plugin, you just drop the Jar into your plugins folder and restart/reload your server.

    one question, if PvP in my server is off, in the new world it will be automatically on, right?

    One more thing, I can only get my OPs to join the games. Un-Opped players "don't have sufficient permissions"
    -I don't have a permissions plugin so I'm not sure how to change this.

    Looks like another issue, though I highly recommend you get a permissions plugin, for simplicity, try adding this to the permissions.yml in your bukkit root folder: http://pastebin.com/ULyPCWFM You need to keep all of the spacing and everyting, so copy from the "raw paste data" box. I hope that helps.

    Hi, are there chest "Auto" spawned onto the map? And hows does the "Auto" world creator work, does it create a spawn ect... and chest. And does this have an "Auto" map roll back feature yet?

    That depends on how you have PvP turned off. If it's something that's server wide, PvP will remain off. I'll fix this in the next update, but if it's per world it will work fine now.

    Everything is automatically done. Spawn, random supply chests around the world (inside random houses). The map is reset every game, yes, but on a new seed. No two maps are ever the same. You will be able to use custom maps soon, though, the code for that is in the works.

    I have the plug-in groupmanager and in it I put it so the default group had this,
    - -tsg.join
    - -tsg.sponsor
    Is that how I'm supposed to put it?
    Please reply someone.

    No, it should look like this:
    - tsg.join
    - tsg.sponsor

    What you have are "negative" permissions, meaning that the permission is removed, not added. There is no need to go into the config and edit it there, though. You can simply use "/mangaddp default tsg.join" and " /mangaddp default tsg.spectator" ingame. For individual players you use "/manuaddp <player> <permission>"

    When someone who isnt an Op on m yserver tried to join it says. You do not have suffiecent permission! and how do you do gamamker? Plz help D;

    You need to give your players permissions to the plugin. Somebody has already asked this in the thread, look at my reply to them, it was helpful, nice instructions. The gamemaker commands are all listed, and can only be used by someone with permission and who is outside of the games. Please read the entire post, more instructions there.

    I have a question about randomized buildings.

    I opened the TSGmod.jar and put my .schematic files (MCE format) into the res folder, then put the .jar into my server, but I don't see any of my structures spawning, ever, is there a way to fix this? could it be because they are too large? I also have another question about d/cing during gameplay, for some reason, it removes OP powers when one disconnects.

    I am running the following mods:
    Pitfall
    WorldEdit
    Essentials
    Deathcube

    You are not supposed to put them in the jar. Most likely in doing that you corrupted them. I suggest downloading the jar again, and then putting your schematic files into the TSGMod folder (/plugins/TSGMod) next to the config.yml.

    If they disconnect they need to relog quickly, this is a bug which I'm am fixing in the next release, but I highly suggest you don't log out during the games, if you're playing.

    Hi, I reinstalled the jar and put the .schematic files into the /plugins/tsgmod folder, but still nothing. They are quite large, I still wonder if they will only appear on the larger cornucopia player maps. Attached is a screenshot of the /tsgmods folder. Untitled.jpg

    I see the problem. At the moment, the plugin doesn't scan the folder for all schematics and use them. It only uses ones named certain names as replacements for the default structures. In the future, you will be able to use custom structures alongside the default ones, and be able to specify the rarity of each type. For now, you can reference this page for what you can replace.

    A nice thing, would be to turn off the "ruinous" look when structures are generated, it can mess with user generated content that needs each block to function. Also, I keep noticing doors don't stay in place, and dispensers aren't loaded, some suggestions for future releases.

    User generated maps will be a feature of later releases, in its fullness anyway. Right now, if you want to use a user generated map, and not have any structures generate you can use the command "/tsg announce <time> <world> nogen" That nogen flag will disable the generation of spawn, and the houses. Disenser loading, and fixing doors, should happen in future updates.

    Just ran it on my Hamachi server with some friends and it ran really well; seemed to have no issues despite being Beta. Terrific plugin overall and would recommend to anyone as this is one, maybe the only, Survival Games plugin out for the public. Will be definitely donating to these guys to keep them going, wouldn't want to see what is an amazingly great project go dead.

    There's been quite a bit of interest in the Alpha builds, so I thought I'd talk about updates here too. I've finished the main infrastructure for the GameMaker, so that will be in soon.     im using the tsgmod now but how do i leave the map i gen and i do not see any structures in my arena and i would like to spawn in a place like the one in the picture and can i know when is the update with the custom maps and spawn coming out?

    Okay, you don't need to use the gen command at all. All you need to do is announce the game, with "/tsg announce <time> <map>". Replace <time> with the amount of time you want the games to wait to start, so that players can join. Replace <map> with the name of the world you want to use. You do not have to generate the world, and you do not need a multiworld plugin, the world will be created and handled automatically. When you've typed that command after a few seconds a message will come up saying that the games are starting on <map> in <time>. When that come up, type "/tsg join" and have everybody who wants to play type that also. When everybody is joined you can either wait the remainder of the time, or type "/tsg forcestart". You will be automatically teleported in and handled. Everything is automatic, you only need to use "/tsg announce" and "/tsg join" ever. Thanks for trying the plugin. :) The updates should come out this week, sorry for the delay.

    ok thanks so do i type the name of a custom map on my computer or make a name up?if it is a custom map name where does the map have to be? and will i leave automactically after the game have ended/when i die

    Just make any name up. It's best to use an easy to type and standard one, like "HG" or "TSG". And yes, you are automatically removed up game end, or loss. Like I said, all automatic! :)
