    pls can someone help me with this i cannot start my own server because of this:

    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/bukkit/craftbukki
    t/Main
    Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.bukkit.craftbukkit.Main
    at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source)
    at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
    at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
    at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
    Could not find the main class: org.bukkit.craftbukkit.Main. Program will exit.

    pls help

    Where did you get your craftbukkit? sounds like a corrupted download

    well first my server was doing good but since i tryed to install buildcraft to it, it did that

    That would be your issue.

    Don't install mods.

    ok thx, and if i would install craftbukkit again am i still able to play on my world or need i make a new world?

    Im having the same issue except im not using mods, and im using build 'craftbukkit-1.2.5-R4.0' could it be corrupted?

    Same. I'm having the issue whether compiled from source or not. WTF?

    jis2507 Would you guys please host your CB jarfile, on DropBox or whatever, so we can see exactly what's the problem?

    Wow I feel stupid. Turns out the problem was forgetting the "-jar" flag. *facepalm*

    Either your Java version is older than...... errr..... old people, or you've got a corrupted .jar file.
