    I posted this in the comments for the plugin but you can quote me and I'll get notifications here blainicus - is there a specific issue you're having with defining mob AI? I'm interested in this and might be able to throw some resources your direction to get the super aggro fixed on everything again.

    I'm also having issues with getting spiders to burn in sunlight, works fine on endermen but not them. I enabled the other monster properties setting.

    Lastly, it seems ONLY spiders have mega aggro, not creepers or endermen either.

    I believe the current version is bugged and will throw that error even if it is working properly. If the mobs aren't dropping the custom items, make sure the "enable custom monster drops" setting near the beginning of the config is set to "true."

    I'm having a problem with this plugin. When I type /ma it says /ma (Monster Apocalypse Spawnpoint Command) [name] args...
    What does this mean?

    So I want to use this plugin to make the monsters drop items from some other mods on the server so they don't have craftbukkit enums (such as industrialcraft tin/copper) - is this possible? or can i edit the enums to make this possible?

    Is there a reason spiders are the only mobs attracted to players? Or am I doing it wrong. I have spent a while messing around with the config, and it seems great, I can get zombies to break blocks and everything, but they arent attracted to the players. Because they arent attracted to a certain point they don't stand still long enough to corpse pile or break most blocks. Any suggestions?

    Take a look at Tribu: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/tribu/
    They have really basic pathfinding (Zombies move towards player and if they fail to reach player they reset to default zombie) . I don't see how it is hardcoded if another plugin can do what this plugin says is impossible.

    Hi, I love the plugin! I have a quick question though... I am creating a zombie survival LAN server and I am finding out that after a player dies the mobs no longer spawn around that player until the other player/players die. Is there any way to configure spawning around players? I messed with the bonus monsters per player and it works until the player dies.

    The zombies dont use mega-aggro because of some hardcoded problem and to that i have some questins
    1. Did they work in the past what changed
    2. How does the mega-aggro work dos it just estend target range or some thing like that
    3. could you just use spout it is desinged with no limits
    (i wish i new something about programing but im great with solutions)
    and last how do you use the /ma command i am failing

    Tell me please how to fix those spiders! They are spawning much more intesively than other mobs, even after I changed the bonus spawn properties to make them spawn less intense than ANY mob. They are also aggresive during days and there is not even an option to make them burning (like at some other mobs), neither the option to change theirs aggresivity, please help!! Also, the wolves or pigmen aren't aggresive towards me after I've set them to be aggresive

    Once, when playing, everything was okay. But then I got MASSIVE lag and this happened when I rejoined. This screen is from the time when I was logging in and the map was loading so slow and the lag was so big so the terrain under me didn't even loaded, so I had enough time to take this screen. There is nothing wrong with my config file, just spiders have their spawns on 80% while other mobs have them on 100%, zombies can break blocks (copied from zombieland) skellys sometimes shoot the super arrows and some healths/dmgs are edited. And btw, server restart didn't fix it

    Now my spawn eggs partially stopped working. The most funny ones- zombies, creepers etc. I can spawn sheeps or blaze, but cannot spawn any of those regular hostile mobs! Please help!!

    I still cannot get this plugin to work, it will not save any changes I make to cfg, even if I edit it in notepad and save it then upload, it will not work. I am using 1.2.5 R1-.0. Zombies dont break walls, still burn in sun. This sounds like a great plugin and would really appreciate some help,

    is there a way to make it so only some way to make it so that zombies only explode 5% of the time and that only ranfom zombies a immune to certan thing like say you fight a zombie horde with 10 zombie and out of that 10 a random one is imune to fire?
    if there is not i think you should add it if you can
    and on a side note i still dont know what the spawn point comands are i feal so stupid right now, can any one help me with it

    8.0 is unplayable becouse i complety disableled silverfish in the config becouse it keeps spawning where i'm standing and so pushing me off the block where i stand and i can't kill it becouse then half a sec later it gliches away and i disabled it in the config and stil happens plz fix this

    Your server is too laggy to run mega-aggro, disable it, or disable all mobs except Creepers, Skeletons, and Zombies.

    Where it says "- block:seconds", how am I supposed to add a list of blocks and times it takes to break them? I've tried all kinds of formats, and get errors every f%*king time.

    Replace "block" with a valid craftbukkit enum (GRASS, DIRT), and seconds with (1, 2, 3, 4).

    So like:
    - DIRT: 5
    - GRASS: 4

    in that order and format.

    and when i do that, after i load my server, the damn thing overwrites the config.yml with the DEFAULT settings. ive changed alotta settings, several times because of this. i found that if i REMOVE the " - " part, it stays for a few runs, but the mobs only seem to appear once, then never again.

    Also, I noticed when this plugin is used, you can't manually spawn anything mob-wise. It simply does not appear.
    VERY annoying.

    Can you clarify exactly what each entry in the config file does? One that I'm worried about is the 2 period ones:

    Nightmare mode period: 1200000

    Is this the duration? The start timer? Measured in... 1/1000th's of a second or something? a MC day has 24000 ticks only...

    And another thing, why and what the hell are Natural, Bonus, and Naturalistic mob groups? There's like... 3 or 4 different lists of the same mobs, and I'm totally confused as to which spawn when and why!

    Finally, (3rd edit, lol!) no matter what I set the config as, the zombies (or anything for that matter) never seem to break any blocks in an attempt to get at the players!

    The period are in millseconds, so 1000=one second. It's converted to ticks programmatically.

    Natural is vanilla spawns, Bonus spawns are wave formation in a circle around players, and Naturalistic are extremely similar to vanilla spawns, but more configurable and not related.

    Make sure you are out of god and creative mode for the zombies, and you have the block list prepared. Maybe you need to use a different text editor as well. They will need to be standing still near a block which is in the way of reaching you.

    I'm using Notepad++, which works just fine, haven't had any problems with spacing, etc... with it.

    As per the several mob groups, will disabling one group (Naturalistic) affect the Natural group? Or vice versa?

    I also noticed that this page:

    says version 3.0 ... how do I tell what version mine is? I downloaded it from this page yesterday, so I assume it's up to date? Although there are flags in the linked page that my config does NOT have, such as:


    Enable monsters attacking smartly and seeing through walls?: false
    //If enabled, zombies will dig tunnels up/down to players or into their houses based on the settings under Advanced Monster Properties->Zombie

    Notepad++ causes all sorts of problem, in my experience.

    The groups are not linked.

    The config page is outdated, I'm gonna update it pretty soon.
