I've seen a few plugins that do this, but they are all outdated. I'd like to integrate my SMF forums with my server in this way: When someone registers on my forums (not necessarily with the same username), it will give them a command to type in-game to verify their account creation (instead of email or admin verification). Then, after typing in the command, it will auto-grant them the "member" rank (just one promote from the "guest" rank). I'm using PermissionsBukkit. Possible configuration for a certain post count before allowing them to verify and become member would be great, but not necessarily required. I've already tried 3 different plugins, but none seem to work the way I hoped. Also, I'd like to know which mysql database I'd need to use? (the one for my bukkit server, or the one for my forums, since they are on separate dedicated servers) Any help is much appreciated.
If you still need help with this, message me, I have set it up with my forums using AuthDB and it works a treat! Onlt thing is, it is email verification, not a command
