My basic Problem is that i want to have a night day detector that works over great distance. I want to use these two detectors: Plugins like ForeverALoad http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/ad...our-chunks-forever-a-loaded-1-2-3-r0-1.28665/ and Chunk enforcer http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/chunk-enforcer/ doesnt work if someone has an idea please write a comment with link Thx
You might try using a redstone plugin that has built in day/night detectors, that would probably be more stable. I'm not entirely sure when chunks are loaded/unloaded when manually called from a plugin, but it's worth a shot. Keeping chunks in memory on purpose is a messy business, I wouldn't recommend it unless it's absolutely necessary.
why not just ask for a day/night sensor plugin? actually...that still wouldn't work, even with day/night sensors, the chunks would still need to be loaded. so i see why you would want to simulate a player... EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
yes but does somebody know a solution for my problem it doesnt have to be such a plugin as in the title
You don't need to simulate a player to load a chunk, but I wouldn't recommend it all the same. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the existing day/night sensor plugins don't already work over long distances with unloaded chunks.
