Simulate Crop Growth Upon Chunk Loading

    Plugin Proposition:
Whenever a chunk is unloaded, a timestamp is attached to it. When a chunk is loaded, a new timestamp is generated, and crop and animal growth is simulated for that duration which is the difference between those timestamps, taking into account day and night.

This would give the impression that crops and animals continue to grow even when players are not nearby. This may require some rebalancing of crop and animal growth time. I suggest doubling the time for both, and reducing the effect of bonemeal on crops (have it increase the crop by one growth stage, instead of accelerating it to maturity).

Is this practical, and are there any problems with it that have escaped my notice?
