I'm using Vanquish-Hosting as a host for both my Minecraft Server, and my web page for the server. There are couple of plugins I would like to have that need access to a MySQL database, but the more important one is LogBlock. I'm putting in all the information to the extent of my knowledge, but me being new to a lot of this, I'm still having some difficulty. I'm not sure if my MySQL host is my website's address, or if it's just localhost. I don't know which port it is, but as far as the database information goes, I'm entering it perfectly, except I'm not sure if i need to include the user as or [database_user]. Please help me out! Thanks in advanced, I know dealing with noobs can be a pain... TL;DR How do I know what my MySQL host, and port are, and what is the format for the user? PS: I am using cPanel X.

    easy way is do download
    WAMP
it will install MySQL,php and other stuff
it will give a direct link to your MySQL database
wamp runs on port:80 so dont run programs like : skype, msm, yahoo etc.

Thanks for helping me. I already have a webserver set up through my game's server host. Do I still need to download this?
