Hello people of the Minecraft and Bukkit community. As a server owner and admin, it is really frustrating when people ask you to protect there land/property's on your server. I am aware of plugins out there that allow players to buy and protect there own areas, but my team that manage our server Diminia, are looking for something different. We have seen a particular plugin out there called 'Potion Protect' and we have discovered that the server owners and admins have paid for it developing and won't release it to the public, which is rather selfish of them. One server that does have this plugin is 'Level Up Minecraft'. The people who manage Level Up Minecraft said: We are asking for a plugin with the following features: - When you throw a certain splash potion down it creates a protected area for you, depending on what protection size you purchased using iConomy. - When you gain your protected area it has a fence border - 3 sizes of buyable area protection - Uses iConomy - Changeable area sizes in the config file (E.G. 20x20, 50x50, 100x100) - Changeable prices for each 3 options in the config file - Must not allow mobs to spawn in the areas - Must be able to add friends to the protected area to allow them to build in it - Must be able to remove friends from building in your area - Must be able to get info on your protected area - Must be able to delete your protected area - Must be able to restrict players on how many Protection Potions they can buy - Purchasing method must be via signs (See below) Some examples of the plugin that we would like are below: Me and my team that manage our server Diminia, are asking for anyone out there that could make this plugin to help us out. I think this is a really good idea for a plugin so i will try and make this plugin possible for you You can't coun't that im going to make this quick. this is a hard code. It will take time. Hi im happy to hear that. I will make a dev page later when more progress is done. My real name is Cevin Wahlstedt. Btw i've started and just made the first command the simpliest /potionClaimer version that tells you the current version of the plugin and my name of it is potion claimer as of the levelcraft has potion protector and i will not steal there name. The dev will be up maybe next week when i've probably added the protection system

Would love to see this, but as for Spartan_D1994 I don't think that other server is selfish. If they paid for something, they have the rights to exclusively own it. That's what purchasing means, you contract the ownership of a product.

So I am Selfish for not publicly releasing a plugin that I paid a developer $300 to develop. I'm sure you would not publicly release a plugin for free in which you paid to be develop. On top of that, the agreement made between myself and the dev was that it was not to be publicly released or I would get no updates or fixes. Please think before you post things. Well some one made this and is now making a Bukkit Dev site it has every thing yours has and this one will be updated and such this was made thanks to CoKoC
TBH it doesn't have everything I have, and the one I have now is going to be updated to V2 very soon to implement new features. CoKoC was the original developer of the plugin, but since it had a few bugs which he told me he didn't know how to fix, I got offered by another dev. Point of my story, is to not call someone selfish because they wouldn't give you something for free.
Ya i under stand that the don't call someone selfish and just an fyi CoKoC will be getting updates with more features soon if you wanna keep an eye on it
You know what? You are right about the selfish thing, I apologize, sorry. But it does get really frustrating when there's a plugin that you need and that other server owners need, that has been made and not shared or made available to other server owners or the public, whether if it was paid for or not. And when I say made available I don't mean for free either, it would be really nice obviously, but most people don't expect you to release it for free.
I always write the console plugin failed to start . Anyone got a corrected version of this plugin or do not know whether you could get a stable version? Thank you in advance for your help and reply and have a nice rest of the day.
