Play Soundcloud/Youtube Music In Defined Regions?

I'm not sure if this is even possible (or even legal) I was just curious if there was a plugin that would allow me to use music from soundcloud or youtube and have it play in a certain area.. hell maybe on the whole map (as I'd like to have the sound of crickets at night and/or birds during the day?)

I do not want to use MusicService - although it is a very interesting plugin, I'd prefer to be able to choose my own music to play in certain areas on certain time loops.. something along those lines.. So has a such plugin ever been developed? Is it even legal to make such a plugin? and if so, is anyone willing to attempt such a thing?

    Thank you and happy crafting!

Do you know if there's any way that you can have a soundtrack playing on a loop? Or would you rather I post on the dev page? :p

    ----

Actually, on second though - After seeing that plugin page I'd like to know if there's some other plugin I could use on Craftbukkit as I don't want all of my players to have to install this spout thing just to hear the music we put on the discs - unless I just misunderstood what the plugin was saying? I'd like something simpler that I could use with Craftbukkit...

If you don't want to use Spout, then don't. C:
I personally love it, and I feel most people should be using it now a days just with all the great features it adds.
But you may want to consider another course of action if you don't have users willing to use Spoutcraft.

It's not my users - It's me personally. I don't feel I should have to switch over to spout just for a music service. I was hoping someone would give me a link to a plugin similar to this one as it's almost EXACTLY what I wanted.. but one that works for craftbukkit. I was under the assumption that people on the CRAFTBUKKIT forum would be looking to assist someone using CRAFTBUKKIT - forgive me for being incorrect.

Anyone with more helpful and not opinionated information about?

I offered you an alternative to the plugin you requested. You didn't specify that you wanted the plugin to be non-spout so don't give me shit about you hoping for an exact response.

These are the Bukkit forums and Spout plugins are just as valid of a solution the plugin you wanted as CraftBukkit plugins so don't blow my suggestion off as un-helpful.

My point is, I don't think this plugin is possible without using Spout. If you still think it's even possible then happy hunting, hope you can find somebody willing to make it.

Actually your response was less then desirable. It's very un-helpful to say the least...
I posted here on the CRAFTBUKKIT forums.. asking for a CRAFTBUKKIT plugin, so don't give me your shit and stay out of my thread unless you have some valuable input you'd like to contribute.

Otherwise, take your stuck-up smartass comments, shove em' and get out of my thread, okay kid?
    Thank you..

Now does anyone else have some valuable information they'd be willing to share? Something constructive please, not pisspoor responses like the ones above?

Shreaders1 your comments here have been less than appropriate and not conducive to helpful discussion. First of all, Frinckles made the very valid spoutcraft suggestion as, according to the stickied [READ FIRST] What can plugins do? thread that you surely read first before posting, plugins cannot play music. It would require a custom client such as spoutcraft, and the server side can be accomplished with the spout bukkit plugin.

    Clean up your attitude, please.

It would be much easier for me to "clean up my attitude" if the other forumers on here were more helpful like yourself. You provided me with valid and helpful information - and I appreciate that.

    @Shreaders1
I think you owe an apology to Frinckles to be honest, not some guy that called you a name. He is the one that only tried to help.

Actually the first apology was directed toward him as it was no one elses business in my honest opinion. I stated in my posts that I appreciated him trying to help me but preferred that someone else answer my question as his suggestion was less then useful (at the time that i received his suggestion, with what knowledge I had of Spout and Craftbukkit - wasn't aware that his suggestion was at all helpful. Once I learned otherwise - I apologized..) anyone else?
