Hello, Recently I've been checking the TPS through CommandBook and NoLagg. Every day my server has at least 50 players online. The lag isn't noticeable at all, it's just the TPS log that tells me that it's "apparently" lagging, or behind clock. - 55 Players - 3 Worlds (World, Farm World, Nether) - 50 Plugins Server: E3-1270 3.4Ghz Quad-Core Hyper-Threading 24 GB DDR3 ECC RAM Intel Solid State Drives The TPS through CommandBook says: Actual Clock Rate: 8.7 TPS Expected Clock Rate: 20.0 TPS I use the usual plugins that most servers run; LogBlock, McMMO, WorldEdit, WorldGuard, CommandBook, NoLaggTNT, NoLaggLighting and quite a few more, but none that are 'huge'. The CPU usage for the highest java process is 180%, which would be spread across each core obviously. The cores never get over 50-70% CPU usage at once, if they do, they go back down quickly. Java is using 9 GB RAM. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Same here, situation get worst when i replace CommandBook with AdminCMD, don't know why. 20 player's server, 21 plugins, moblimit to 800, TPS ~8 when 12-13 players online. Bukkit 1.2.5 R1.0
Check out this knowledgebase here: http://www.theminecrafthost.com/clients/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=3 My suggestion would be to get craftbukkit++. Ever since I have started using it, I have never had a major TPS drop.
Read the following thread: http://forums.spout.org/threads/craftbukkit.938/ Basically, it's a build of craftbukkit that is optimised to prevent TPS drops.
Ok, i found answer while ago, but thanks It's safe to use with all bukkit plugins ? Fully compatibile ?
Because not many people know about it. Also, you only start noticing these TPS drops when you get a large number of people playing on a server.
I had about 6 TPS with 15 peoples on 20 slot server, when i change view distance in server.propeties from 10 to 7, i have 20 TPS when 20 peoples are on my server. I want put 2, or 3 more plugins on it and i wonder it's make sense to change bukkit to bukkit++ on server with 20 slots [only].
