PlugMania a Development Team

Hi all,

PlugMania is a team of devs brought together for bringing more plugins to the users of CraftBukkit.

The PlugMania Crew:

Why PlugMania?
We like the idea that you own plugins as a group, that way the group can change over time but still be the same to the users of the plugins, most important is what the group shows together in terms of imagination, stability, endsupport etc.

What we bring to the table:
- Scripts for bringing minecraft server information to the web
- Mysql implementation
- Multiple dedicated programmers in java
- Our repo's always on GitHub
- High standard Support, Wiki's
- Maintainance kept

A few ideas on the table is:
- Arena (all-in-one)
- MazeMania (released)
- Quest plugin
- AirPortal (released)

- EduMania (wip)
- Interception plugin

Important is that your ideas is as good as ours, please feel free to point us in any direction.

... we will aim at being as efficient as we can, and let the plugins keep coming.

 

So you're making a team to create plugins?
Sounds good, unfortunately I haven't got much experience with bukkit

 

Ye, I have alot of time on my hands atm, and that could be used on projects like these that I enjoy seeing used on my kids server too. It could be the start of something new, and maybe getting to know some people that I wouldn't have.

 

I'd be interested in this... I can program a bit and I've already written a few plugins, but I'm not so great at storing information and my SQL knowledge is very basic.

 

Perfect Korikisulda, I will take care of the SQL needed so you can do what you do best. I'll add you to the first post and we will hope for a few more to join, then I will PM all, so we can get started.

 

I'm a Java programmer and know bukkit well. I would like to join... If i get in, how much time are we gonna spend on this a day?

 

Perfect Maddiaren, cool to have you on board, as I said in previous post I will PM you all when we are ready to launch. We are getting closer now, great to see commitment.

maddii it is then Btw I forgot to answer on the question on time. Was thinking that we github the projects and divide the parts. That way we can all work when it fits us best. Most important is that we have a great time doing it, and don't feel pressured towards our life besides this (If we have one )

 

nsordk This looks great , Could I join? If I did join then I might not always be around and might have to do some personal plugins but I'd love to help out. Some of the plugins I've made are in my description

 

You are welcome to jump onboard ryan7745. I was expecting interested would have plugins of their own too. We will sort it, and make it work for all of us.

I do have some plugina made, however its for the server i play on so i do have experience in making plugins.

 

When we get the last one on the team I will make some preparations, an agenda for us to start up on, and one thing on that should aim at what we do best and feel like expanding on. All in all, the more experience on the team the more range we can have on things.

You will be the last on board for now krazyswaggaO, that was pretty damn fast!

As said I will do some prepping for you guys, and will PM you as fast as I can. In the meantime you call do some thinking on what's your strength and weaknesses.

 

I'd like to join to if there is still a spot. I have some experience in the bukkit API and I'm open to learn new things if it would be required.

Greeting, time for a bump as we have an opening for 1 developer on our team. Read the first post and please use PM if this is something for you.
Development has started, we just need you to jump onboard.

 

We still need 1 or 2 developers that want to help manage our server plugins too, and/or participate in the develogin of our plugins.

 

UPDATE! We are now seeking 2 more developers and a dedicated head-admin for our mc-server. If what you read below is something you can commit to, then PM us with information about your experience in: Java, Github, other useful. Also add some of your previous work as reference. We will give you answer you shortly after your PM is sent.
