Since updating to 1.2, the Nether has become a very buggy world on our server. Between horrible framerate drops and infinite item placement from time to time upon entering this world, hell, even seeing through LWC locked chests immediately after leaving a portal, this world has been so bad that I had to shut it down. Has anyone been getting similar issues, or better yet, does anyone know a fix?

    Bump.

It's the same way on my server, it only lags until the chunk data is completely loaded for the player, then it's not so bad... Do you have an issue with 100000 ghasts spawning in the nether as well? Try EntitySurpressor, I dropped my nether spawns way down to 128 and it sped it up a little. How much ram are you running with?

No problems with lots of ghasts spawning for me. I'm running with 2gb of RAM. The server should be running fine; on 1.1 and all previous versions it ran the world and the world_nether just fine. Oddly enough, world_the_end is free of any lag and is just like the regular world in terms of smoothness. It's a very strange issue that has been bugging me for quite some time.

    bump.

I have the same problem like UnPhair, i have MultiVerse latest version downloaded right now and i have setted up some world like HAMA (the main), Nether and End and two extra worlds that are: Noobs (for non-perms people) and a help center / jail world setted up with CleanroomGenerator. The players have a low FPS rate only in the nether and i dont know how repair this :S The server has more than 800MB++ RAM free and i think the problem would not be the ram memory. So many thanks in advance.
