I have a home server with the following specs.

    Windows 7
    Dual Core 1.8 Ghz
    8 GB of Ram
    No video card
Mini ATX Motherboard, Case, and power supply
    3 x 32G SSDs
and the internet speed that can put ethernet cables on fire.

It will run the following (and only the following)
    Running CraftBukkit 1.2.5 R1.0
    Plugin - Versions
    Bioman - v 1.3
BukkitInventoryTool - not for 1.2.5 yet?
    Citizens - v 1.2
Citizen Skin - not for 1.2.5 yet?
    Dynmap - 0.36.3
    Dynmap World Guard- ↑
    Dynmap Essentials - ↑
    Essentials - v 2.9.1
    Essentials Chat - v ↑
    Essentials Spawn - v ↑
    Hide Stream - v 1.04
    MCMMO - 1.3.05
    PermissionsEx - v 1.19.1
    Script Block - v 0.8.0
    Tombstone - v 1.3.7
    TrainCarts - v 1.65
    Vault - v 1.2.14-b164
    World Edit - v 5.3
    World Guard - v 5.5.2
    Showcase (standalone) - v b78
    Spout - v 1110
    Spout Essentials - v 3.9.3

Will I or Should I see any problems?... This is my current hardware. No upgrades are possible, no money.

    1. "internet speed that can put ethernet cables on fire" is not really specific
    2. how many players do you like to accept at the same time?
    3. do you set spawn-animals and/or spawn-monsters in the properties file to true?

DynMap can be very CPU intensive. I think your CPU is the weakest point in your setup, so be careful with DynMaps configuration.

    1. Specific: The server is in a local internet provider's building. With a pact that i don't allow connections outside of the local area (the local ISP's server makes sure those connections arnt made.) (probably a 50-70 Mile range). The internet connection is only limited by the hardware and what the wires can hold. (lets just say its unlimited, only because i don't know what the top of the speed is, although i DO know is over 8Mbytes). :D
    2. It will most likely top out at something like 8 players.. max .. on a good day. Other wise mostly 4 at a time.
    3. Everything is enabled.

As for Dynmap.. its kind of a 'meh' i may choose to drop that if it causes problems. If not i want to keep it.

So.. will the server run alright? will the small CPU (without dynmap) be a problem?

I think the server will run very well with or without dynmap.

Just restrict dynmap to rerender the images on a very few events.

  5. CPU is clocked too low

i think you need a better CPU :/

Other thought... the Mother Board its paired with is doing some sort of "Core Unlocker." It effectively changes the 2 Cores it has and "simulates?" 4 cores. I wonder if turn that off would be more efficient?

I think you should be perfectly fine. I run a home server off a old computer with 20+ plugins, 4 players MIN, 10 players MAX, with almost NO lagg. And thats only 1gb dedicated to the server and 1gb for the system.

    Here's my specs:

    OS: Windows XP
CPU: Intel Centrino Single Core 1.6ghz
    RAM: 2gb
Video Card: Gforce Go 6800 256mb
    Drive: 80gb HDD
