logs spammed with Connected Players: messages

As the title says, I think its when I run Essentials plugin my logs every 20 seconds are hit with the message shown below:

2012-04-19 15:37:12 [INFO] There are 0 out of maximum 8 players online.
2012-04-19 15:37:12 [INFO] Connected players:

I run mc 1.2.5 and latest bukkit. Plugins are: lockette, redProtect, Essentials (core), McJobs

Anyone seen this before?
Any idea of how to stop it?

Are you using any kind of control panel at all? I know that multicraft does this to get the players that are on the server.

hhmm yes I'm using multicraft..... I could swear this only started once I installed essentials tho.... at least I know where to look now.... unless you know a specific fix?
