Player Locator (Arrow Symbol Over Head)

I've been searching for a plugin that allows me to easily turn around and find players in an instant for a while now, but have found nothing.

What the mod should consist of:

#Console game like(BF3 style) Waypoint markers above people's heads.
#Customizabe colours depending on grouping(Adin, casual, visitor)
#In game menu? (Not necessary)

If anyone could link me in the way of such a plugin I would be very greatful of their help.

Well given that there already is a nametag above players couldn't it just be on my scren at all times regardless of distance and have it stand out more?

 

I don't think this is possible with the "vanilla" bukkit. But probably this could be done as a client mod or as a server mod with Spoutcraft + SpoutPlugin

 

SpoutCraft and SpoutPlugin would definently be required for this. Im sure it is possible with that.

 

Spout + a good dev (or better a full dev team..) would be needed to make this plugin.

 

I only need this to manage player locations on the server at all times, to prevent problems and solve conflicts a lot faster. So it woouldn't be required for all players just me (Admin) if its at all possible. I really do hope someone can develop it as I'm sure there would be many who are also looking for something like it.

You could just use the Rei's Minimap mod and enable player radar.
