Use 1.7.9! I saw your thread, and have no idea why he closed it. It said nothing about offline mode (I tried to put mine in offline while the auth servers were down, and it didn't even work! XD) Must have been a miss translation. Also, cool. I love FTB, and I am hoping to start a network soon. (Ultimate, w/Patched Turtles!)
Do you have any patched for items on your server? I planned this summer to patch things like Portal Guns, Gravi Guns, Lazors, Turtles, but if you have any small patches you could contribute, I would be very grateful, and in return share my patches with you.
I had a couple patches in my plugin FTBHelper. The new owner of the Glass-Gaming server rewrote my plugin and added alot more patches if you want to go and ask him if he would be willing to share them with you.
