I got into minecraft purely as a recreational exorcise, building, rather than fighting monsters, but I enjoy both I suppose. Later finding pleasure in the hobby of running a server. We have a private group that plays on an unlisted server that I run both here on the LAN and on WAN at specified times. It became a sort of "club" between Myself and my friends. Once in a while we let an outsider in, but we are very careful whom we trust.

Most of us are just into it for building and the machine is on creative for the most part, but thanks to the wide range of plugins available and the amazing work here at Bukkit, we have vastly expanded beyond mere 'vanilla'.

I got signed up because I wanted to tell the people who work here, THANK YOU.

Also, it's nice to have some input, though my coding experience is from a much older time COBOL BASIC, and Quick-BASIC. were the flavors of my time I know a little bit of C, but really only just enough to get me by.

One of the things I love about Minecraft is that for a person who is not mobile, such as in my case, low vision, it allows me to see worlds and places I would have never been able to reach in the real world. I can go anywhere and see anything. Ive seen some really amazing stuff out there, and some really crappy stuff too lol.
