Hey Dude a Mod in my server made a video on how to use the bLift Plugin. It would be really cool if you would use it on the bLift Post. Thank You. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xE6iee4aIDE
Working on a project, i have seen your plugins and liked them and i'm trying to round up a few fellow developers, I've written many plugins, i never released them due to the sole fact i started for a private server, I'm young but have a lot of Java experience and i'm descent with this API. Please PM me for details on this plugin project if your interested in helping me.
I have a bit of programming under my belt but I have had trouble trying to understand java. May be due to the fact that I learn better by reading other source code and the re-engineering it for my needs. I can't seem to do that with java because of the way it's set up. I can never use open source code and recompile. I use Netbeans and I always get some error or other from it.
I use Eclipse myself, but I've used netbeans some. Well I don't compile my plugins per se, I export them as a .jar file, which I suppose is a little different from other programming languages you may be familiar with, like those in the C(++/#) family.
I believe that is just where my mistake has been. I've never tried to export them, just compile. Will give it a try later today and see what happens. If it works then I should have no problem picking the language up quickly. Thanks, dude!
I saw your plugins and you said that you learned how to do it in a day or so. I couldn't make any sense of it, so could you help me? Thanks!
Well, how much Java experience do you have? I suppose it's worth mentioning I've been a programmer for years, that helps haha.
Ah well, I haven't had much experience at all. A little here, a little there, and just some of the basics.
