    Ok, it didn't.
Do you know where to find Recommended Build 1.2.3?

Ok, what should I do then? Use the Dev?

If you know what you're doing use the Dev Build but if you don't know much about Plugins stay with the Stable Build till all plugins updates to 1.2.3 or 1.2.2.

Fuuuu I hate people like you @sigmatt

1.2 came out like a day and a half ago! Ofcourse there isn't a Recommended Build! When has there EVER been an RB 2 days of a release? You shouldn't even need to ask that. You sound like an idiot, and I'm sure a lot of the people on these forums would agree. Please for the love my sanity, wait.

And what do you have to do with this? Nothing so stop leeching.

jojo - when CraftBukkit updates to 1.2.3, you will know it, because the base dev build filenames at dl.bukkit.org will change from 1.2.2 to 1.2.3. But, things are not very usable right now based on all the broken plugins, as others have suggested, so you may want to stick with the current release build. It's going to take time.

Not to sound derpy or anything, but seeing as Mojang and Bukkit are now working together, will we get releases at the same time? As in, minecraft updates and voila! So does Bukkit. Or will we still have to wait? Apparently (I didn't read all the post) Bukkit are altering the API themselves, so that would speed up the process wouldn't it?

It's still early in the day to expect that kind of shift from autonomy to total integration, I think. ;)

Could someone please explain what the difference between dev and recommended is?

Recommended is like Bukkit recommends you to use it as its stable without any bugs. Dev means its still in Development and its only a Snapshop AKA Preview.

That's actually a good question. You would hope that working alongside the guys working on the game would allow them to keep up with them, so I'm sure when they release a new update for Minecraft from now on that their new API will roll out at the same time with it.

Meaning, this could very well be the last time we deal with the waiting issue like this.
