So i've recently gone through the hassle it seems to create my own server, a little server for me and some friends, and some randoms who feel like being on my server is a good use of their time.

I have had trouble with griefing in the past, (Destroying a lot of things i've created, including things that took hours to put together) And I have squandered throughout the plugins on this website for my server that could stop major griefing, like single block protecting, for say, a building outside of the spawn, that has crafting tables and furnaces for players to use, but they can't be destroyed. Or a General store with stores created with 'Chestshop' that can be used but they can't be destroyed.

Now I might just be an idiot, but I can't necessarily find exactly what i'm looking for. I'm trying to find a plugin, that at the same time as protecting blocks and things like Chestshop stores, also allows players to be able to actually use these items that are protected.

I currently use 'Zmod' to protect certain structures, but it leaves them unable to be used or entered by non-op players. A friend of mine said, (who has also created his own server) mentioned that 'Worldedit' has a way to protect specific blocks but also render them usable by players. Any kind of advice/links to plugins that are close to what i'm looking for, would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Lol.

Found Plugins, couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Was hoping for someone to suggest something, not miss the whole point of what I typed and act like I never looked.

    Kthxbye.

LogBlock / Worldguard would be a good start.

Logblock wont do what you want, but it will allow you to roll back and identify any griefing in the future. If you don't know how to setup MySQL, Hawkeye has a flatfile method you could try.

Get Worldguard , delete Zmod. That part is up to you. When you get WorldGuard, type //wand , select your regions and type /region define NAMEHERE
then you need to set up what kind of things you would like on that region like
...well just type /region flag NAMEHERE
and it will come up with a list of things. So you want your users to be able to buy from shop huh? so
    /region flag NAMEYOUPUT use allow

HunterT don't forget, you need WorldEdit & WorldGuard to do what you said. (//wand = WorldEdit, and you need it to make WorldGuard run period.)
