I've just come up with a new way to help clients: Real time remote assistance using join.me.

It's easy both for the client/BCF to operate and will be better for extended client issues.

I port forwarded and my friends were able to join my server without issue... But suddenly one day they just see "Can't reach server" for my external IP address and so they can't join the server.

The weird thing is that I can join that server with my internal IP or simply typing "localhost" to the address. However, my friends can't join via the external IP. All of my IPs are the same as before.
The problem has been going on for about 2 days now

That also can mean whatever's handling your port forwarding fell through and died.

 

That sounds very likely. I'll go through everything again and see if there is anything I missed. Thanks for the help.

Finally fixed my server after doing the whole port forwarding again. Thanks a lot for the help

 

No problem. I just wish it weren't your internet provider giving you crap connection.

I use world edit and group manager along with some other plugins, the only way world edit will work for a person is if they are OP, i dont want ops i want groups so how can i make world edit work per group? I added permissions nodes but it doesnt work. Am i using the wrong nodes? Please help.

 

Do you have EssentialsGroupBridge? If not, get it.

Assuming you're using a remote server, you might have set the permission for the permission.yml file to be overwritten by something else.

Can you give us a list of your plugins?

 

It looks pretty cool... I've been wondering how to get maps to display certain things. Have you got a Github?

Hey guys I have some little questions:
1) Citizens: I have a NPC called Amphase placed somewhere in the spawn, problem is every time I log in I spawn exactly in front of him, even if I move him... How can I fix that?
2) Commandbook (Kit): Problem here is that I have 1 Kit from Commandbook that I've put in the Kits.txt file from the Commandbook folder, but if I type ingame /kit I get 2 Kits listed up, Starter and Rock but I've never set them and can't even find them anywhere, why?!
3) Commandbook/Teleportsuite: I would like to make it possible for Members to /tpa, /tpaccept, /tpdeny and /tptoggle and for Moderators to /tp, /tpo, /tphere, /tpohere. What permission nodes do I need to add?
4) PermissionsEX/HeroChat: How can I make it so every Mod, Admin, Head-Admin and Owner's text color get's blue? I mean the color from the message they write.
5) Bukkit (?): How can I limit the amount of Mobs you can spawn with the command /spawnmob <mob> <amount> ?
6) Last question, how can I get the names of the Staff Members that are online colored on the list you get pressing tab?
