    Well, I am working on removing the particles, but to do so I have to go deep into the craftbukkit code. It's not easy but I'll fix it.

    A crafting permissions system would be nice, most of the recipe restrictors out there have been discontinued :(

    Ok, as so many of you want to restrict crafting the items, I'll make a extra plugin for that soon.

    No, currently it's impossible for me to reset the ids of the custom items. I'll ask the spout team about that, but currently (unfortunetly) no.

    thanks for the awesome plugin anyway. Only reason i ever wanted custom ID's was to use with MobArena. Your doing an amazing job with the plugin though!

    also you said earlier in a previous post you were planning on making a grenadespack to work alongside with gunspack. are you still thinking about it?

    Anyway to make a gun use multiple ammo and/or vanilla items as ammo. I was thinking of several things this would be needed for:
    1. A 'Junk Gun' that can be loaded with any number of things as ammo. This would need several different ammo types (almost all of which would be from vanilla) and as long as one is present load the gun.
    2. Flintlocks with gunpowder and a bullet as ammo. This would need two ammo items and one would need to be from vanilla.
    3. A flamethrower that uses a lava-bucket as ammo. This would need a vanilla item as ammo.
    4. A crossbow using arrows as ammo. Like above but it would also be nice to actually have it fire an arrow...

    Yeah just confirmed putting recoil to over 0 makes the gun rapid fire (ignores reload time), and I don't know if my effects setup is wrong but the breaking blocks and potion effects aren't working :( My gun config is here, am I doing something wrong?

    It also says on startup that for my guns, no effects are loaded but I can see the potion effects on zombies when I use the instant damage potion effect, but no damage is done from potion effects.

    How about the nether portal/Endermen particle effect?

    Also, out of curiosity, if you're working on placeable guns, could sentry turrets be a possibility?

    No you need to use Spoutcraft to launch the game. Spoutcraft is a minecraft launcher.

    1. You can use the guns in mobarena even without custom ids. Just use the flint id (318) and the subid of the gun(you can show it in the log), like so: 318:[subid]:[amount]
    2. Yes, I am also working on a grenades pack. It's not ready for release, but it will be soon.
    3. Oh, that's my fault (forgot to remove a debug message), but this should not affect the loaded guns. It will just show up, if you didn't assign effects to a gun. That will be fixed in the next version. Until then just assign a smoke effect or something just to not to get the error.

    2. Ok, so you want to have more than one items consumed on fire.... it's possible. I'll do it.
    3. Ok, implementing vanilla items as ammo. On the todo list.
    4. Ok, optianal assign a projectile for the gun.

    • Breaking blocks: your potency value is too low, e.g. obisdian is 27(I think). So a potency of 1 will break nothing ,oh well perhaps flowers..;)
    • Potion effect: You forgot to assign a duration for the effects you used.
    @BlueJayofEvil - I will add it if possible.
    @dta1 - thank you for your updated pack, and yes I am trying around with the idea of placeable guns. But it will take a while until they are ready
    @MicahCB - Good idea, but not easy to do.
    @Meteo - its called MobArena :rolleyes:

    Thanks man, I got the poisons working but where can I find a potency/hardness table for blocks, google failed me! :( Looking forward to the permissions, your plugin is by far my favourite spout plugin!

    Ok, I found the issue. You just missed to capitalize the 'P' of 'flightPath' and the 'B' of 'targetBlock'.

    Alright thanks man, also do you know why my effects are registering for some guns but not others? I can confirm that the YML format is correct and everything. And should I use 'strength' or 'strenght' for potion strengths, the default config seems to use stenght.

    This works:

    Great plugin... Above post demonstrates the problems and bugs... Also - I love the plugin! It is basically completed now, and really damn amazing. Just please:
    1. Add bullet types
    2. Make it so that the zoom image appears on start of zoom, not when it is finished zooming in.
    3. Add spread (for shotguns)

    I updated my pack with loads of new stuff.
    CHANGELOG:
    Added Scopes for MP5 (replaced tompson) and the new Desert Eagle
    Added tons of crafting recipes along with custom crafting items.
    Added the Flamethrower (experimental, not reccomended for non-admin use)
    Changed the ammo system, (less individual ammo types, now uses bullet types like 9MM, 16MM, etc.

    Added Desert Eagle
    Addded Scoped Desert eagle

    I installed MobArena 94.3.24 and it doesnt show hp... and just wondering if your guns would be able to be compatible with Heroes plugin, cause a gunner class would be awesome.

  27. Wow this looks pretty cool. If you dont mind me asking how did you create the guns using a plugin? I read one of the sticky posts and they said plugins were incapable of creating ingame items.

    SpoutPlugin is the answer (for now). Check out Spout.org or just do a Bukkit Plugin search with the key word Spout. Until vanilla Minecraft officially adds in all the new stuff they are planing Spout is filling in that need.
     
  29. THIS MOD IS AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for making it. It's is my favorite minecraft mod. I like the customize ability which makes this plugin very flexible. Btw a sentry gun would be awesome.

    Some bugs I found: When u make a bazooka style weapon and set reloadtime to any number greater than 0 and set clip size to x, after x shots the fire rate goes extremely high. Even if the shot delay is like 50.

    Stuxrt i downloaded ur gun pack and it loads all the guns in v 1.5 but u cant fire or zoom with any of them. It also comes up with the error below

    This still wasn't replied to, and i wanted to add that there should be a option for spray bullets or not to, as i want a shotgun. Also for Assault Rifles and such, is there a way to be in motion while shooting? I noticed it stoped u when your a sniper which is fine, but... id rather not have that for pistols and mini guns
