Since the build in permissions were added, I've been unable to use Group Manager. Please let me know how I can continue to use Group Manager.
I don't want to use bPermissions or PermissionsEx. Group Manager worked fine before the update and I would like to continue to use it.
Z5T1 Group Manager still works, what errors have you encountered? Also, like ArrowToTheKnee implied, you should use a recent, more popular and often updated plugin. Group Manager has been inactive for quite some time.
^^ But, if you REALLY REALLLY REALLY REALLY want to use an outdated plugin (switching isn't that hard, and we can help) then you're going to need to post any errors and your EXACT problem. Giving us that GM isn't working since an update won't help... :/
I've configured Group Manager and users say they can't use any commands. Is there an easy way to copy over my group and user settings to a new plugin?
Z5T1 This is a problem that often happens with Group Manager, which is often caused by missing a space, adding a space, pressing tab or something stupid like that. :/ Try running it through a YAML Parser. If that doesn't help, I suggest switching over to a new plugin. They are pretty close to the same, in the sense for configuration. Just be sure to copy over your permission nodes. Also, please tag me if you are making a comment that is referred to me.
Go download either bPermissions or PermissionsEx, then simply run your server to have them generate their files and configure it the same way you did for Group Manager. (More or less.)
PermissionsEx didn't work. It just says "I'm sorry, but you don't have permission to perform this command. Please contact the server administrators if you believe that this is in error." whenever I try to execute a command, even if I have permission. I've had enough of this. I'm switching my server to CanaryMod.
