Hi, I want people to be able to type some commands, but shorted these and bypass permissions - For example, I'd want to shorten /item 54 - to like /54 - But I want someone from the default group to be able to use this command - so it bypasses permissions. Is this possible? Thanks, RowdyKingDippy
As far as I know there is no way to make a shortend version dynamically so no that part isn't, as far as perms why not just give them the permission for it?
I want them to be able to type /townyadmin town [townname] join [player] This command enables them to join the town themselves - as without this it requires someone to add them. But if I gave them /townyadmin they could delete towns!
No there aren't.. theres no other way of joining unless a mayor or assistant adds you - and there not always online. I hope someone can create a plugin for either bypassing commands/shortening!
shortening is impossible, but the bypassing could be done I guess. but its a really rigid way to do it.
Shame CommandHelper doesn't bypass permissions.. SirTyler it would be great if you could write something like this.. not just for towny - but generally So do you think it's possible? EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Yeah its possible to do, only the permissions bypassing part though. basically for what you want someone can make a command that will do the Town join command with set variables. Personally I don't think it should be made cause its just kinda useless, I would suggest sending a PM or leaving a suggestion to the author of the plugin to add in permissions nodes for specific towns.
