    PoisonSwords - Poison your enemy with PoisonSwords:
    Version: v1.2

    This fun little plugin will allow you to poison any sword, from wood swords to diamond swords, all you need is some ink sacks in your inventory and a sword. Every sword has different poison time, see the list below to see what sword does the most poison damage and uses the most poison.

    Wood Sword:
    - Uses one poison.
    - Two seconds of damage.

    Stone Sword:
    - Uses two poison.
    - Four seconds of damage.

    Iron Sword:
    - Uses three poison.
    - Six seconds of damage.

    Gold Sword:
    - Uses four poison.
    - Eight seconds of damage.

    Diamond Sword:
    - Uses five poison.
    - Ten seconds of damage.

    Nice. Does the sword still do the original damage it would anyway, or is it only poison now?

    Yes, the swords still have the original damage but now the player will get poisoned when hit by it.

    Thanks :).

    Your not allowed ad.fly links.
    LinkBucks is basically the same i doubt it will get accepted.

    But cool mod. (y)

    Thanks, and just to clear some things up, linkbucks is allowed.

    @Paulpkyou
    Really... ? :S That makes no sense.

    It makes perfect sense, in my experience adf.ly has dangerous ads (I.E: java drive-bys), linkbucks doesn't, you can speak with a mod yourself asking if linkbucks is allowed if you don't believe me.

    Just a extra feature i put in that lets you give yourself / others the experience of 1.9's potion effects in 1.8. :)

    @Paulpkyou that nausea potion is a real doosey, could you make a permission node for a just a heal potion to counteract that side-effects.

    I would like to use the potions, but if everyone is wobbling and not able to stop it, they might get really nauseas.

    Also, any other potions up your sleave?

    Well the potions do stop after a while and i could add some others later on and a permission node, i only picked popular ones from 1.9 :p.

    Reall nice idea :)
    It'll be better if you'll add permissions though :)

    @Lyme- REALLY?

    Permissions:

    • PoisonSwords.poison.override => Allows you to have unlimited poison. (requires 1 ink sack)
    • PoisonSwords.commands => Allows you to access /PoisonSwords and /PSwords.

    The url is working perfectly fine. Kaspersky anti-virus and ad-blocking plugins for firefox are known to cause problems.

    Awesome plugin, just needs to be more configurable. Amount of poison damage the weapon does, the duration of poison, amount of ink sack to apply poison on the specific weapon, permission for who can use/apply poison to weapons, permissions for which specific weapon a player is able to use/apply poison.

    ^Yeah a config would be great.

    Does the poison apply on mobs too?

  25. Offline

    Paulpkyou

    I will add a configuration file and make the poison apply to the mobs in the next version. :)

    Thank you :D
    Its pretty fun with an arena plugin and classes,
    because of the absolute damage poison is a perfekt tank killer. ^^

    Would it be possible to make a option in the config to set how fast someone get damage?

    Uh also i want to thank you for the great plugin :p

  27. Offline

    Paulpkyou

    Sure, i can add that option. :)

    This would be cool if you actually had to use that spider eye potion (pretty much a poison) instead of an inksac. :)

    Paulpkyou

    Well this was made before potions came out :p

    You could turn your potion into a splash potion.
    I think this is a better way to apply poison with a potion.
    It is to expensive to use potions.
